The design concept for this show is punctuated by the setting of this adaptation, Florence in the 1960’s.  Films like La Dolce Vita and the fashion label Sorelle Fontana were used for research and much of the show utilized pulled or purchased vintage pieces.  Impeccable tailoring and fit were priority for the garments to show the wealth and vanity of the characters.
