This Czech folk opera was a challenge in creating a whole new stock of wardrobe for a large, double cast. The stock available had very little "folk" wear and thus most pieces were created, from an old-world style circus to traditional dirndl inspired looks, a high volume of pieces were created with very little staff resources ( I personally grommeted over 15 bodices.) However, the warmth and vitality of the piece come through in the comfortable and rustic color palette.
