This musical is mighty complicated.  With a plotline that regresses in time over 20 years and written with a large cast of leads to pay attention to, it is easy to get lost in what you are watching.  In order to define our leads and maintain a sense of clarity, costumes were abstracted from reality by painting costume "silhouettes" directly onto t-shirts and t-shirt dresses and each lead was given a spcific monochromatic palette that followed them throughout the show.
